The rules for using FarmAssist and related services

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using FarmAssist. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Netagrow Technologies Limited ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") regarding your use of the FarmAssist platform and related services.
By accessing or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our services.
Important: These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
2. Account Types & Access
Account Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- One person or entity per account (no sharing credentials)
Farmer Premium
Farmers may begin with limited trial access to selected AI tools before upgrading to the paid Farmer Premium plan. The premium plan unlocks expanded AI tools, farm management features, and service discovery for K50 per month. Farmers' anonymised activity may contribute to regional agricultural intelligence products.
K50/month — premium access
Service Provider
Agricultural service providers (tractor hire, spraying, consultancy, etc.) access bookings, messaging, marketplace listings, and priority placement. Subject to subscription billing.
K150/month or K1,500/year
Corporate / Organisation
Institutional access to aggregated regional intelligence dashboards, reports, and data exports. Only anonymised data is accessible — no individual farmer records.
K1,200 per user a month · Data API from K12,000 a month · Enterprise from K40,000 a month
Account Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at support@netagrow.com.
3. Service Description
FarmAssist is a comprehensive agricultural management platform that provides:
- Farm and field management tools
- Crop monitoring and tracking
- Weather data and forecasting
- Market price information
- Agricultural insights and recommendations
- Livestock management features
- Data analytics and reporting
Service Evolution: We continuously improve our services and may add, modify, or discontinue features. We'll provide reasonable notice for significant changes.
4. User Data & Agricultural Intelligence
Your personal data belongs to you. We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Anonymised Agricultural Intelligence — What You're Agreeing To
Netagrow makes regional climate and water-risk intelligence products — built from public satellite climate data and national geospatial data, not from individual farm records — available to institutional partners (government bodies, financial institutions, NGOs, agribusinesses, and research organisations). By using Netagrow, all users (particularly farmers) also acknowledge that their anonymised, aggregated activity may be included in future regional agricultural intelligence products made available to the same institutional partners.
- ✓ Only aggregated, anonymised data — no individual records, names, GPS coordinates, or contact details
- ✓ If farmer activity is ever aggregated, a minimum group threshold applies — no data point will reflect fewer than 50 individuals
- ✓ This use is integral to Netagrow's mission — improving agricultural policy, financial inclusion, and service delivery across the region
- ✗ Your individual identity, farm records, or personal data are never sold or shared with any party
Your Data Rights
- You retain ownership of all farm data you upload
- You can export your data at any time from Settings
- You can request full data deletion by contacting privacy@netagrow.com
- We implement industry-standard encryption and security measures
5. Acceptable Use Policy
✓ Permitted Uses
- Managing your legitimate farming operations
- Tracking crops, fields, and agricultural activities
- Accessing weather and market information
- Generating reports for business or compliance purposes
- Sharing data with authorized farm personnel
✗ Prohibited Uses
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringing on intellectual property rights
- Attempting to hack, compromise, or disrupt our services
- Uploading malicious software or harmful content
- Impersonating others or providing false information
- Using the service for non-agricultural commercial purposes without permission
- Attempting to reverse engineer or copy our software
6. Subscription & Payment Terms
Billing
- Subscription fees are billed in advance
- All fees are non-refundable unless required by law
- We may change pricing with 30 days notice
- Accounts may be suspended for non-payment
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You'll retain access to your data for 30 days after cancellation.
7. Intellectual Property
Our Rights
The FarmAssist platform, including software, design, content, and trademarks, is owned by Netagrow Ltd. and protected by intellectual property laws.
Your Rights
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our services for your agricultural operations.
8. Service Availability & Support
Service Level
We strive for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows will be announced in advance when possible.

9. Limitation of Liability
Important Legal Notice
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:
- Crop losses or agricultural decisions based on our data
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Service interruptions or data loss
- Third-party integrations or external data sources
- Force majeure events beyond our control
Maximum Liability: Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Zambia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Zambia.

- Mediation through agreed neutral party
- Court proceedings as last resort
11. Termination
Your Rights
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support or using account deletion features in the application.
Our Rights
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, illegal activity, or extended non-payment.
Effect of Termination
- Access to services immediately ceases
- Data retention period: 30 days for recovery
- Surviving clauses: payment obligations, intellectual property, limitations
